The City Livery Club welcomes membership enquiries from members of the Company. Advantages of becoming a member include a convenient venue to meet, dine and exchange views and an extensive social programme. Contact postbox@cityliveryclub.com, or call 020 7369 1672.

The Livery Committee’s Communications Working Group, which I chair, is responsible for the various City and other Briefings for liverymen, future masters, and clerks, and the dates for these in 2010 are as follows:

City Briefings – Innholders’ Hall

Wednesday 17 February 2010
Tuesday 4th May 2010
Wednesday 13th October 2010
Wednesday 10th November 2010

These Briefings are designed for all liverymen, old and new, and have also proved useful to court assistants heading towards the chair. Spouses and partners are also welcome. They start at 5pm for 5.30pm, and conclude with refreshments from 7pm.

City Management Course – Drapers’ Hall

Monday 20th September 2010

This annual one day course (starting at 9.30am) is specifically intended for those Court Assistants likely to be elected master within the foreseeable future. Masters already in office are also welcome, and frequently attend.
